Dear Future 7th Grade Parents/Guardians,
The State of California requires all students entering 7th grade to have received a Tdap (Whooping Cough) Booster Vaccine on or after their 7th birthday. Please follow up with your healthcare provider to confirm your child's vaccination status so your child can begin the 7th-grade school year without delay.
Please submit proof that your student has received the Tdap booster for verification. Students without Tdap documentation WILL NOT be allowed to attend school for the 26/27 school year until proof of the vaccine has been submitted to the school office. Our office staff is required to send students home until documentation can be provided. You may bring documentation to the school office up until June 26th; we are open Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, or email a copy to Ms. Courtney (Chudson@colfax.k12.ca.us). To ensure fewer notifications regarding this important matter, please contact the CES office if you have scheduled an appointment and can provide the appointment card for your student's upcoming appointment.
Please note that the Colfax Elementary School office will be closed for summer break from July 1st, 2026, through July 31, 2026. We will reopen and resume regular office hours on Monday, August 3, 2026.
