2025-26 Employee Health Benefits

The District offers medical, dental, and vision coverage to employees and their eligible dependents. Employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible for benefits. Annual open enrollment for medical, dental, and vision coverage is conducted each May with an effective date of July 1. The Open Enrollment period is an opportunity to change medical carriers, plans, and/or change dependent coverage.

We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees. The complete benefits package is briefly summarized in this booklet. Documents from the carriers will give you more detailed information about each of these programs. Employees may have a cost share for some benefits and other benefits may be provided at no cost.

Eligible employees declining coverage will need to complete a waiver form. Elections or declination of coverage remains in effect until the next Open Enrollment unless there is a qualifying event. Specific provider forms can be found in their respective sections below.

Sutter Health Plus

Sutter HP 1600 HD HMO becomes Sutter HP 1650 HD HMO HD40

  • IRS mandate – minimum deductible increases for individuals and families (1650/3300/3300)

  • Out-of-Pocket maximum increases to $6600

Sutter HP 2500 HD HMO HD39

  • IRS mandate – deductible for individual within a family increases to $3300 (2500/3300/5000)

Kaiser Permanente

  • IRS mandate – deductible for individual within a family increases to $3300

    • 2000 HD HMO – 2000/3300/4000

      • OOPM also changing to 3300/6200

Western Health Advantage

WHA High-Deductible Plans

  • IRS mandate – deductible for individual within a family increases to $3300

  • Increased HDHP 2800 Maximum out-of-pocket from $4,000/$8,000 to $6,500/$13,000

  • Mail order Rx copay will now be 2x retail (prev. 2.5x retail) and will now be 100-day supply

    • Second highest out-of-network provider

    • All Stores are in-network (materials) – includes Sam’s Club

    • Frame allowance would mirror Costco wholesale allowance of $110
